These two hour intensive workshops seek to develop both creative design thinking alongside foundational art skills. Each workshop is the celebration of the life and works of a different artist or designer. Please note that we offer puppet workshops for younger children who are looking to learn art, design and making skills.

Sunday 21st of January / David McKee: Illustration & Character Design Workshop
Taking inspiration from the wonderful imagination and illustrations of David McKee - and also looking more widely at character development, illustration and graphic novels - participants will explore the power of the ink line as well as developing their own characters.
Sunday 18th of February / Frank Gehry: Architecture and Perspective Drawing
In this workshop we will be creating buildings and imagining our own skylines. We will also be looking at some of the basics of perspective drawing.
Sunday 25th of March / Andre Derain: Colour mixing
Participants will look at the work of Andre Derain and Fauvism to enlarge their view of colour and it's uses. They will undertake a range of exercises around colour mixing.
