These two hour intensive workshops seek to develop both creative design thinking alongside foundational art skills. Each workshop is the celebration of the life and works of a different artist or designer. Please note that we offer puppet workshops for younger children who are looking to learn art, design and making skills.

Sunday 29th of April / Colour mixing part two
Following on from the end of last term, pupils will put the colour mixing principles learned into practise, painting small studies and from real life. It is not essential that they have attended part 1, but it should be noted that this is quite an advanced class that requires good levels of concentration.
Sunday 20th of May / James Ensor: Intaglio printing
Looking at the odd and beautiful work of printmaker James Esnor, participants will learn how to scratch, mark and distress a plate from which they can ink and print their own image.

Sunday 17th of June / Andy Warhol: Summer Tshirts
Continuing our annual summer tradition, participants will be designing and screen printing a t-shirt fit for summer. This year we will be exploring graphic elements whilst taking inspiration from Andy Warhol’s ice-cream images.

P4-P7 workshops are 1.30-3.30pm.
P7-S4 workshops are 4-6pm and open to secondary aged children and P7s who have been coming to our classes for some time and have the concentration to work at this level - please email us about this if you're unsure which one to go for.
They are held at The Studio 567, 567 Dumbarton Road, Partick.
They are £18 each, or £50 for all three when booked in advance.
All materials are included.
